So my 2008 GMC Acadia SLT2 AWD came with Goodyear Eagle RS/A pMetric P255/60/r19 and the vehicle reached 44.5K miles. The tires would be fine in California, but the weather in Texas has left me feeling a little unsure of their traction after a hydroplaning incident with my daughter in the backseat with the first light October 2011 rain in Austin, TX. This lead me to do a bit of research on a few tires - my options ranged from Goodyear Eagle RS-A, Michelin Latitude Tour, Firestone Destination ST, Hankook Ventus AS RH07, and the Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza model.
